Best Practice Studio CIC is committed to ensuring that all participants, beneficiaries, contractors, volunteers, and community partners involved in our projects are protected from harm, exploitation, and abuse.
This policy applies to all directors, staff, sub-contractors, and volunteers working on behalf of The Best Practice Project CIC across all media production, digital training, and community engagement activities.
2. Core Safeguarding Principles
- The welfare of children, young people, and adults at risk is paramount.
- Everyone, regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation, has an equal right to protection from all types of harm or abuse.
- Working in partnership with individuals, communities, and relevant authorities is essential in promoting safeguarding.

- Data & Asset Protection: Video footage, audio, and images will be securely stored and processed in compliance with data protection legislation.
- Safe Environments: Film shoots and workshop environments will be risk-assessed to ensure physical and emotional safety for all contributors.
